A Story to be told..
This artwork celebrates the life and career of Maestro Andrea Bocelli, an icon of Italian music and art known throughout the world.
We have decided to exhibit this “work in progress” because we would like to involve you in this journey and its delicate and complex creation process. We are not simply creating a sculpture; we are bringing to life a unique piece that tells a story, celebrates a great artist, and perpetuates the tradition of Italian art. The work exhibited displayed here is a preview that we have the immense pleasure of showing you on the occasion of the celebrations of Andrea Bocelli’s 30-year career. This sculpture which will be completed with other bas-reliefs depicting the most important moments of Andrea’s artistic and private life.
Creating portraits of Andrea Bocelli is not only an artistic task but also a great responsibility; it means representing a symbol of our culture, a figure that embodies the beauty and depth of Italian art.
For this reason we have chosen a material that is symbolic of Italy and Tuscany, the beautiful Statuary marble. True sculpture is an art that requires patience, dedica- tion and a deep respect for the creative process. Every sculpted detail is the result of meticulous work that cannot be rushed. We live in an era where everything moves quickly, and the importance of time in artistic creation is often forgotten. In this context, it is essential to underline the differ- ence between manual processing and that carried out with modern machinery. Technology, however advanced, will never be able to reproduce the precision, sensitivity of the human touch and the gesture of the sculptor. Each stroke of the artist’s chisel is unique, reflecting a specific intention, a variation of pressure, a movement that a machine cannot replicate.
“The sculptor’s hand can only break the spell to free the sleeping figures in the stone.” Michelangelo Buonarroti 1475-1564
We thank Teresa Huber, patron, collector, ambassador of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, and close friend of the Bocelli Family, for making all this possible.

“La Vie en Rose”
is not just a vase or rather a sculpture, imagine it as a memory, the memory of a nobility now dissolved, a suspended memory, forgotten in a secret garden, of those flower gardens in a blaze of roses, the same roses that surround it and become part of it. Pink onyx finds its maximum expression in emulating the delicate petals, the eye almost seems to touch them such was the care with which they were sculpted. An unique sculpture, entirely hand-sculpted from a solid block of very rare pure pink onyx.
Limited edition of 6. Signed and numbered by hand. Certificate of Authenticity.
Onyx is a natural material, every piece is unique as each marble block is different in veins and color shades. All of our creations are handmade by Italian artisans and can slightly vary in shape and size. This is to be considered as a guarantee of a handmade object.
